Take soft-top 4x4 jeeps for a bumpy ride to trek head. Enjoy exciting views of Mango Gusor (6208m) and Bakhor Das (5809m) peaks. Camp at Askoli. (145 km, 5-6 hours.)
Begin our trek, walking across an incredible wilderness of rock, ice and sky. After walking alongside Braldu River for about an hour, we reach the village of Askole - the last permanent settlement along our trekking route. After setting foot on the Biafo Glacier and scrambling across the lateral moraine for about three hours, we arrive at Namla campsite. (6-7 hour trek).
Trek towards Mango, crossing snow bridges and moraines. Experience the changing scenery as you ascend. Camp overnight in Mango.
Continue trekking towards Baintha. Marvel at the vastness of the Snow Lake. Set up camp near the glacial lake. Overnight stay at Baintha.
Acclimatization day. Explore the surroundings or take a short hike. Enjoy the breathtaking views of Snow Lake. Overnight stay at Baintha.
Steep and uneven ascent on the glacier, then straightforward trek on flat expanse. Caution advised near crevasses. Trail offers breathtaking panoramas of peaks like The Ogre (7,813m), with first glimpses of Hispar La and Snow Lake. Overnight stay at Marfoghoro.
Trek from Marpho Ghoro to Karpho Ghoro through challenging terrain, navigating moraines and glacier paths. Enjoy panoramic views as experienced guides ensure safety and provide insight into the region's unique geography. Overnight stay at Karpho Ghoro.
