Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Islamabad

Arrival in Islamabad and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2Flight to Skardu or drive to Chilas 2250m

Catch early morning flight to Skardu (55 minutes) with incredible views of Nanga Parbat. Free time to explore city and bazaar. Finalize trekking permits and meet trekking staff. Alternative overland drive to Skardu (20-22 hours) with overnight in Chilas if flight unavailable.

Day 3Shopping & Preparation Day in Skardu

Food shopping and packing supplies. Free time in city during morning. Optional visit to Kharpocho Fort in late afternoon. Group dinner before departure.

Day 4Drive From Skardu to Kanday 2850m

Full day jeep drive 5-6 hours through amazing Gangche valleys and beautiful villages to Kandy. Enjoy stunning Masherbrum views from this village. Stay in camp.

Day 5Kanday - Minguloo Broq 3283m

Trek starts to Minguloo Broq (3,150m) at 06:30-07:00am. Approximately 4.5 hours very easy trek through greenery to Minguloo Broq camp, center point to access Nangma mountains Base camp.

Day 6Minguloo Broq - Nangma Valley 3640m

Easy hiking between 07:30-08:00am straight to Nangma valley with very easy trail passing through unique jungle and trees. Approximately 2-3 hours to wonderful Nangma camp. Relax and explore rocky stone areas.

Day 7Photography & Explore the Nangma Valley

Enjoy walking up to Nangma hills with incredible views of Nangma mountains Amin Braq, BraqZang, Shinguchatpa, K-6. Photography session and exploration. Return to campsite for relaxation and activities with porters.

Day 8Trek back to Kanday

Start around 07:30am to Kandy, 4-5 hours descend to jeep access village. End the wonderful Nangma valley trek. Say goodbye to porters and drive back to Skardu by jeep (4-5 hours) with lunch in Kandy village.

Day 9Rest Day in Skardu

After completing the long trek, take a day to reflect, rest, do laundry, and eat in Skardu.

Day 10Skardu - Astore 4200m

Drive to Deosai National Park - second highest alpine plateau in world (4200m). Experience peak wildflower season. Lunch at Sheosar Lake. Continue to Astor valley at 3300 meters with huge pine, cedar, fir and juniper trees.

Trip participants need to be in good shape and capable of trekking over mixed terrain for long distances (maximum 5-8 hours). On average our trekking days are 5 to 8 hours per day.

Breakfast includes omelet/fried eggs, paratha, chai/coffee. Lunch has local bread, noodle soup, tinned fish, biscuits. Dinner features vegetables, rice, noodle dishes, daal, meat (mutton or chicken) served by experienced cook.

If you cancel 30 days before trip we charge 15% deduction, 15 days before means 35% deduction, and no refunds if you cancel 7 days or less. These deductions don't include bank transfer charges.
