Upon arrival in Skardu, visit the breathtaking Shangrila Lake and Upper Kachura Lake (time permitting; otherwise, these attractions will be explored on the final day of the trip). Take time to enjoy the serene surroundings, capture memorable photographs, and optionally experience boating on the crystal-clear waters of the lakes. After the sightseeing, proceed to your hotel in Skardu for check-in and enjoy some well-deserved leisure time to relax and unwind after the day’s journey. Overnight stay in Skardu.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting out for an exciting excursion to the beautiful Basho Valley (jeep cost not included). The journey begins with a thrilling jeep ride through charming mountain villages, lush green fields, and picturesque landscapes, offering glimpses of traditional Balti life along the way. Upon reaching the stunning Basho Meadows, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, dense forests, and crystal-clear streams, take time to fully immerse yourself in the tranquility and natural beauty of the valley. Enjoy leisurely walks, capture breathtaking photographs, and relax in the serene alpine environment while breathing in the fresh mountain air. After spending quality time in Basho Valley, return to Skardu and check in at the hotel. In the evening, you may explore the vibrant Skardu Bazaar for local handicrafts and souvenirs or simply unwind and relax at the hotel after a memorable day of adventure. Overnight stay in Skardu.

After breakfast, set out on a scenic excursion toward the spectacular Manthokha Waterfall, one of the most dramatic waterfalls in Pakistan, cascading from a height of over 180 feet amidst lush green surroundings. Spend quality time at the waterfall enjoying photography. Afterwards, continue the journey toward the beautiful Shigar Valley. En route, make a stop at the famous Cold Desert of Skardu, where you may opt for adventurous activities such as bike riding, ATV rides, or paragliding (optional and subject to availability). The striking contrast of golden sand dunes against the backdrop of towering Karakoram peaks offers fantastic opportunities for photography. Upon reaching Shigar, explore the charming old town with its historic lanes and traditional Balti architecture. The highlight of the visit is the magnificent Shigar Fort, a beautifully restored 17th-century palace that now stands as a symbol of the region’s history and architectural elegance. After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, begin the morning with a visit to the beautiful Upper and Lower Kachura Lakes (if they were not explored earlier in the itinerary). where you can soak in the serene waters and stunning mountain reflections. From there, we embark on a scenic drive toward besham, with leisurely stop-overs en route to admire the breathtaking landscapes, capture photographs, and perhaps savor local refreshments. Upon reaching besham, you’ll check in to your hotel and unwind, enjoying a comfortable overnight stay in Chilas/Besham.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your journey back home. Along the way, we will make comfortable stop-overs, giving you the chance to stretch, relax, and enjoy refreshments amidst the scenic surroundings. Upon reaching Islamabad, we’ll ensure a convenient drop-off right at your doorstep, marking the conclusion of your memorable journey.
